Oomlout's budget protoshields

Woo, first post. :) Welcome to Metalmuncher's blog. Stuff might be shown on here, if I remember to update it.

So, I bought these protoboards from Oomlout a couple days ago, and decided to solder together one to see how it worked. The answer: Very nicely indeed. You get three PCBs and all the necessary headers to go with them in a small bag. You can see what the bare boards look like below, and what the underside looks like after I used my rubbish soldering skills on the headers. I really liked the way that this board solders, nice 'n' easy for a newbie to soldering like me.




I did a quick test with a small red breadboard and an my new Arduino Uno R3. It makes a nice breadboard shield with over 16x8 spare single holes left for soldering to.
